I use my local library as much as I can, not only for books but also magazines and audiobooks. They also organize interesting events 😊

I love to read and the way I've saved money is by getting kindle unlimited for $11.99 a month. I read every day and read anywhere from 4 to 6 books a month. I value the savings and I know it's money well spent. ❤📖

My go-to meal when I am tired is lunchmeat, cheese and crackers. Such a budget meal

I've been there, done that – guilty as charged! However, I've recently made a conscious effort to prioritize my well-being. Nowadays, I'm all about balance – working, walking, and getting enough sleep. Online shopping can be a slippery slope, but I'm committed to breaking the cycle and focusing on debt repayment.

On the book front. I have a Kindle. It was a great, purposeful investment for me. It clears the physical clutter of books and before I decide to actually purchase a full book, it enables me to read a sample before I fully commit to whether I'm going to enjoy the book or not. It has saved me immensely ❤

Oh sis, the moment you said “10 Things To Stop Buying,” my whole brain went “Good grief,” because every time I try to cut spending, I somehow end up in the grocery store arguing with myself over a $7 artisanal yogurt like, “Marquis… seriously… does this taste like financial freedom or just fermented regret?” And then another voice goes, “Well… maybe it’s both.” Classic. And honestly, it reminds me of the month I tried to be ultra‑disciplined and stopped buying coffee out—only to catch myself at 6 a.m. brewing something so bitter it tasted like my student‑loan trauma, standing there whispering “Yikes” as if the mug could hear me. But here’s the deep part: that whole fiasco taught me that half our budget killers aren’t even big purchases—they’re tiny little gremlins nibbling at your paycheck while smiling innocently. So if your video helps folks avoid the “oh my word, how did I spend $112 on snacks and vibes” moment, then thank heavens, because some of us are one impulse buy away from eating crackers for dinner and calling it “minimalism.”

I use a spreadsheet for budgeting, a portion of my income goes into my charity and i save so much, my investments are working well. Its positive to be financially comfortable. Its taken hardwork to get there. I read everyday as an avid bookworm. kindle is good.

I would have to be retired (which I'm not) in order to have time to cook. Smh. My husband passed away in 2016 so I live alone. I barely have time to clean up house. 😂

I now buy clothes that I can dress up and down. I have 3 handbags in black, brown and orange. Then one black cross body. 2 perfumes, one body moisturizer and 1 face moisturizer. I'm decluttering my closet. I want to have a small wardrobe with clothes that I wear more

Get a library card at your local library. If a book that you want to read is not available, you can suggest to add it to the library collection. Have a child? Take them to the library to get a book or let them attend a free class or presentation. Retired or out of work? Use library databases for self-education.

Using products I already have and not buying more because it's on sale and I can stock up is not working for me. Yes, there's a deal, but I have enough. I'm working on decluttering my home (a significant task), and I feel stressed with the stockpile I have. It feels like more clutter and $ wasted.😣. It's really an effort to not buy (scarcity mindset). But, I'm getting better at it.

Fantasy life. That’s such a clever description. I am guilty. I buy it but I’m not going. 🤔 oh my goodness.
I need to and will fix lunch at home more often.
