There are high yield savings accounts that can be used when investing is not feasible. I recently moved my bank savings account to one. It’s still an emergency fund but making money at the same time.

Stop preaching this nonsense. Where inflation and taxes take 60 % of your wages. Like people want to enjoy their life as well. People kill me with this logic. Ask those that are in the top 1 % how disciplined they are. And you will find we are all human at the end of the day.

It took a lot of years to get my life together but I think I finally got it. In the last decade I have gotten rid of all debt except my mortgage, which I make extra bi-weekly instead of monthly payments. I use credit cards like debit cards…if I don’t have the money in my bank at POS, I don’t purchase. I pay the bill every single week on Sunday. Use the rewards for cash payments towards the bill and never pay interest. I put 15% of my check to 401k, have 2 brokerage accounts and 2 IRA with maxed out contributions every year. And I have 6-8 months of living expenses in a high yield savings account.
Think about making podcasts so people can listen while driving to/from work. People can learn using that time while traveling.
I learned so much in 10 minutes.

That’s my goal right now. To invest 15% every check. I was doing it at one point but times was getting hard and I had to go back to 6%. But I believe this go round I should be good. Car almost paid for and I told myself no more cars till the wheels 🛞 fall off. Going beast mode on investment 💪🏾. Let’s do it y’all.

All good advice for someone starting out in life. Not realistic for people who are actually struggling to get by. All the plans and budgets in the world doesn't help when every cent is spent just so you can continue to exist for another day.
