50% materials deposit from customers has turned around my small manufacturing business.
The only issue I see is that probably you want be able to nogotiate with yur suppliers from day 1 but rather fro the 3rd month. Another obstacle is that the customers may delay payments, ask for partial payments or even not pay at all (go bankrupt for example). You should look at your 4 leverages daily and try to correct them.

Thanks for the video – I feel a point has been missed at @8:40 the difference in the stock sale value after the last January between the 2 options is + £350k. Or take the cost of sales for Feb off the last January to have cash of £367k – both I’d say worth borrowing £19k if you can. Or start ramping up supply in Sept and Oct in the second example to catch up with demand.
