I hate working and that’s something I don’t think I’ll ever miss idc. My goal is to retire early.
Great rundown. Thank you
It’s eye-opening to hear the honest truth about the post-FIRE anxiety, it proves that retiring early isn't just a financial shift, but a massive emotional and social adjustment as well
It’s so important to talk about the emotional adjustment after hitting FIRE, having a solid plan for the identity shift is just as crucial as the financial math 🧘♂💼
Question is, how do you meet other early retirees to hang with during the bored times….
I'm less worried about early retirement anxiety and more nervous about how much i'll spend in fuel by boating every single day! LOL
Why is endless travel the goal for people who retire? Is there no higher goal in life?
this info is so real
Great content blessings to your family
great video! i've just started my own fire journey still got long ways to go but nice to hear someone talk about the downsides.
We just need to adapt,
Humans are the best to adapting.
From being held to crawling to walking to running,
Being fed to eating ourselves to being able to cook,
From goo goo ga ga to talking and even multiple foreign languages,
Starting school starting work starting retirement,
It’s just the natural process in life.
Money wise it’s all about maths,
Track what you earn to what you spend,
Clever investments to create financial freedom to not work,
VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU RETIRE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY BECAUSE IT DOES MAKE RETIREMENT EVEN MORE SPECIAL.
You want to be able to live, you don’t want to just sit infront of the tv being miserable.
I semi retired at 42 then fully retired at 45,
Best decision I’ve ever made in actual fact what I know now I wished I could have done it sooner.
Good luck everyone
One life live it well 🙏
Is 60 years old old enough to retire 😂
One of the best decisions you can make as you approach retirement is to have your house paid off. Just think of the high rate of inflation and having to make mortgage payments even in retirement. One of the main causes of the majority of seniors' restless nights is the rising rate of inflation. They risk running out of money because of the rise in the cost of necessities. The amount of money retirees can take out of their retirement savings rises in tandem with price hikes.
Congrats to you all. Why did you pick portugal? Im assuming some benefit to retiring there?
if you retire early then your kids won't have any work ethics.
Reached financial freedom at 30 🙂 Travel way too often, too much free time. Now I think I need goals and productivity.
Thanks guys that was a great warts and all reveal of early retirement. Better to hear it from someone living it than just the theory! 🥰🥰😍😍😍😄
Rich people should make you nervous. Your vids are missing something…. there should be like flames behind your ridiculous faces and expressions in these vids. I hope I am literally watching one of your vids while society unravels out on the street below me. I will just have another ring-ding and turn UP the volume!! Thanks, Satan!
I have reached my fire but I’m struggling to hit the early retirement button yet because I think I will get bored without my job. The day is coming when I will hit that button. I’m just not ready yet.
