This take is left-wing BS. Yes, the prices for fast food have increased and the service has declined. But to continue to blame this on "the Trump tariffs, corporate greed, issues with capitalism" shows how little the left-leaning host knows about this situation. Did he even ONCE mention the increase in labor forced on by Democrats exclusively?! $20.00 an hour minimum wages without question cause a direct and VERY pronounced adverse effect on prices at fast-food restaurants as well as a decrease in staff > service > time waiting. He conveniently leaves this out in his left-wing rant disguised as an 'unbiased' review of the issues with fast food pricing. Yes, the prices are higher and the service sucks. But give a more complete and fact-based review of what the true drivers are that are affecting the consumers. Thank you.
Fast Food businesses. Yes I would like an order of french fries, too bad you don't know what that is. It is not a little bag of cold shoe string potatoes.
Number of times I've had a order disappear between the app and the store, or change ticket numbers, or the order went through but their systems were completely down is crazy.
I usually get the counter pick up but more and more its been feeling like I'm standing for 10 minutes.
Raise the prices, give smaller portions, remove the good taste: brilliant marketing. I don't use fast food places anymore lol
It's frustrating listening to this stuff. McDonald's has been outrageously priced going back a few years. They've been purposefully pushing the price to its limits to squeeze us. Are they still a profitable company? Well duh. Theyre just greedy.
who the hell is suggesting for a music background in informative content.
ugh
Thumbs down. Don't recommend channel
I also dislike how brutalist and unwelcoming the new remodeled designs look. 👎👎👎
I dont want to eat in a sad gray box
the problem isn't that fast food is a luxury or a treat. it was always supposed to be that. the problem happened in the late 80s and early 90s when these businesses were given free rein to change how the average american viewed their products. you were never supposed to be eating fast food for every meal of every day, even if you could afford to.
nothing is getting worse. it's just going back to normal.
Cost is only half the problem. The quality is just not there, and you are getting less for more money.
Time to bring back the dollar menu. Okay, we know the prices aren't the same so we'll compromise with a $2 menu.
I'll come back to McDonald's if they have $2 fries and $2 cheese burger $3 double cheese burger. $2.50 double hamburger.
The average American can no longer afford the more minimal luxuries, (fast food), society has to offer. . .
. . .one of two things are coming. Either is continues to get worse. . .or people decide they have had enough of being fucked out of their lives by rich people!!!
fast food for me is fried chicken (4 pc) and potato salad (16oz) from Kroger.
FAFO
I feel bad for everyone
The appeal of fast food not only that it was fast, but it was easy and cheap. You take away that and what do you have?
downvote for using the BS commie phrase 'late stage capitalism'
Here in Europe we are cooking food during week. This reduces costs by about two-thirds, sometimes even more. And it's way healthier than fast-food trash. 🙂
I hate videos where you have to watch the commentator talk, why?
Macca's charging $5 for a small thickshake.
Get stuffed.
McDonalds especially used to be a fun place for kids to go, now they are all the same grim corporate buildings that might as well be offices.
