Everyone knew at the time dealers made more money out of finance than they did selling cars. I don’t know which rock the people who think they were mis-sold come from, but everyone knew. It is just a case of lawyers just trying to make money without integrity now, and people re-writing history to get a few thousand.
Everyone knew the arrangements and it suited both sides, buy a car is a luxury items so why should these people get money from it.
I had DCA on mine and black horse acknowledged it.
What about all those people whom have been dumped into signing to to a broker to get the compensation for them, prior to the high court ruling, Can they stop their claim though the scam brokers??
It really shouldn't be difficult. Car dealers should be allowed to work with one lender, a panel of lenders, or the full market, as they see fit. They should be allowed to receive whatever commission they and the lender think appropriate, and they should be required to provide the details of both of those things to the buyer, before the contract is signed.

Had a DCA Agreement.. Signed up for an HP Purchase with no issues in 2020.
The DCA was probably mentioned in the T&C's on the last page, line 69 but sadly didn't spot it😢
Not bothered about the money… it's the principle & lack of transparency that really is completely unacceptable.If I receive anything it'll go to a worthwhile charity…👍
These people agreed to their payments at the time of purchase. They didn't have to. They should get nowt! But at least the ambulance chasers will grab a third of it back plus VAT!
